this shore excursion will unfold for you the 500 years old of Jewish people in Istanbul. Enter the  Askenazi, Neve Shalom and Ahrida Synagogues and visit Zulfaris Museum

You will disembark from you ship and statr your excursion with a first stop to Askenazi Synagogue which is the only active Ashkenazi synagogue in Istanbul currently open to visits and prayers. 

Continue on and cross the Golden horn to Balat, which has been the traditional neighbourhood where Jews have lived for the past 500 years.

The next stop is scheduled at the Neve Shalom Synagogue and the Ahrida Synagogue , one of the oldrest ones in the city.

As you leave the Jewish quarter behind, you will visit the Galata Tower which is considered the most traditional neighbourhood. You will have the opportunity to see the folkloric museum of Zulfaris, dedicated to Turkish –Jewish tradition.

The last stop will be in Ortakoy , the place where the Ottoman Sultan welcome the Jews when they fist arrived in Turkey.
