After your disembarkation from the ship, you will depart for your exciting sightseeing in Istanbul. The first stop is scheduled for Topkapi Palace,  the former palace of the sultans that is now used as a museum exhibiting extraordinary artifacts and jewels. You will also have the opportunity to see the Topkapi diamond a yellow diamond, the forth largest of its kind in the world.

Afterwards, you will visit the Hippodrome, a large open air archaeological site which was used during the Byzantine period as a cultural and sports centre. In the Hippodrome’s area today, the visitors can also see the Snake Column from Delphi and an Egyptian obelisk taken from the Temple of Karnak at Luxor in Egypt.

The next stop will be the church of Saint Sophia ( Agia Sophia) , a magnificent example of monumental Byzantine architecture, the greatest Cathedral of the Byzantine World. The interior dome is decorated with mosaics of exceptional technique. Saint Sophia is knowadays the dominant landmark of the city.

The final stop is scheduled for the Blue Mosque, the greatest mosque in the Islamic World. It is crowned outside by 6, 64-meter high minarets and covered inside by blue, hand made ,ceramic tiles.
