This full day tour is dedicated to Edirne, served as the capital city of the Ottoman Empire before Constantinople. The city is known for the numerous and impressive mosques.
The first stop is scheduled for Eski Camii (Old Mosque), located in the centre of the city . The mosque was built from the order of Emir Süleyman and during the visit, you will have the chance to admire the interior which is decorated by calligraphy works.
The next stop is Üç Serefeli Camii, crowed by three minarets accessible by stairs. The minarets are unique due to the fact that they are decorated with unlike types of tiles.
Go on to the Selimiye Mosque, the greatest mosque in the city. It was built by architect Mimar Sinan  during the 16th century. The monumental structure was built to proclaim the wealth and power of the Ottoman Empire.
In the middle of the day, you will enjoy a lunch in a selected restaurant and rest for a while before continuing with the tour.
Hence you will visit another mosque designed by Sinan , Semiz Ali Pasa Arasta. Afterwards , you will have some free time for the shops located in the close area.
As you re-embark the bus, you will cross the Meric bridge and get to Kule Kapisi , the tower that was used to protect the city from the conquerors.
The last stop is appointed for Beyazit Kulliyesi, an octagonal complex of structures consisted by a mosque and an old hospital. The hospital was used as a sanatorium treating patients with music.
